Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest (ESSW) annouces spring online courses
ESSW plans to offer three different online courses that will run from February 6 to March 23, 2012. Registration is open through February 1. Cost is $170/class and students will earn 20 hours CEUs per class. There is also a group rate of $125 if five or more students enroll. To learn more about these courses, click here.

The 26-member Class of 2009 will graduate and three Austin people will be honored during Seminary of the Southwest commencement on May 12. The Rev. Charles James Cook, who retired from full-time teaching at Southwest at the end of 2008, and Austin writer J. Keith Miller will receive honorary doctoral degrees. Carrielu Christensen, veteran member of the seminary’s board of trustees, will receive the trustee’s award. The Rev. Canon C.K. Robertson, Ph.D., canon to Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori, will present the commencement sermon. more...
