Diane Snow honored
Diane Snow, a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Hurst and professor in the College of Nursing at UTA, has been named a practitioner fellow. From MavWire, the UTA newsletter for faculty and staff, "Diane Snow, clinical professor in the College of Nursing, will be inducted as a fellow in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners at the national conference June 24 in Las Vegas.
"Dr. Snow has been a member of the nursing faculty since 1979. In addition to providing nursing leadership at UT Arlington as the director of the Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program, she is nationally known for her expertise in substance abuse. She also serves as co-director of the Center for Psychopharmacology Education and Research.
"She has served a term as president of the International Nurses Society on Addictions and is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and a certified addictions registered nurse."
