Take a Continuing Education Class this Fall and Get Inspired!
Episcopal Divinity school is offering two EDSConnect continuing education courses this fall. For those interested in confidence-building preaching techniques, we offer "Your Way with God's Word: Building Confidence in Your Preaching". For parishes who have a desire to reach out further into their community and the world, try on " Ministry that Reaches Out: Changing our Community, Changing the World".
Using web based technology, these courses run eight weeks and allow participants to take part from home (or parish) while expanding leadership skills. Courses include individual viewing of web based video lectures, short written assignments, and local small group discussion. Each course ends with time to consider how to apply what was learned to the student's particular context.
Register individually, or gather a team from your parish at a greatly reduced cost. Contact Liz Magill, director of EDSConnect at 617.682.1581 or firstname.lastname@example.org with questions or to register.
